Hey you guys!
This segment of “Current Obsessions/ My Eats” has become one of my favorite things to share on this blog. I mean, who doesn’t love a good food post?
I am now eating wheat-free, dairy free, and feeling good.
You don’t have to buy expensive brown rice tortillas to have them wheat/gluten free! These ones were much cheaper and they came in a bigger package – 5.99 for 30 mini tortillas. They were my obsession for the week, we sure had a lot of tacos at my house!
I added sweetened matcha powder to my chia seed pudding for a bit of a boost and topped it with peaches, pecans, and banana. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, nothing makes my day quite like a beautiful breakfast!
I am a cheese addict. I’ve known this for a long time. Living without it will have it’s challenges, but luckily I am willing to get creative. Nutritional yeast is often used in vegan dishes to give them that “cheesy” taste. I’ve used it before in a recipe for cashew cheese and I definitely found that a sprinkle of this made a difference. I always keep a bit on hand, and last week when I was really needing some of that cheesey taste I decided to throw some on my chicken salad. I would typically put feta or goat cheese, but this stuff definitely helped with the craving. I would definitely make this again!

This was a treat!
