First things first: I’m a wellness lover. I loved it so much, I pursued it professionally to become a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant. I love teaching people about the power of food, and sharing information about how what you eat can effect both your body and your brain – because if you haven’t heard, strong bodies = strong minds!
This site is dedicated to all things health and wellness – everything from fitness to food, soul searching to protein shakes. I look at health through the lense of mental wellness, so a lot of my posts are about mental health.
Here, I’ll be sharing my knowledge, my experiences, and most importantly my passion. It is my promise to you to keep experiencing, learning, trying, researching, cooking, and creating… all so I can share it with you.
My vision is one of positivity, vulnerability, and openness. I believe in creating a safe place where people feel comfortable talking about their struggles, while also retaining the kind of hope and optimism necessary to overcome them.
But if you came here for all of that, you’ll stay for the part where I share delicious, whole, quality food. At Standing Strong Wellness we believe that food is care and food is love. I hope to ignite the same passion for food in you.
