Ever get into a breakfast slump? I’d been feeling like that lately. When I have the time, I like to make a breakfast that is both beautiful and nourishing. I want to make something I can take my time to enjoy. That’s where the Sweet Potato Smoothie Bowl comes in.
This smoothie bowl is so tasty and is also totally fitting for the fall season. The complex carbohydrates provide sustained energy for busy mornings.
What you’ll need:
- 3/4 cup cooked sweet potato, cooled
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 TBSP nut milk
- 1/8 TSP of cinnamon
- 1/8 TSP of nutmeg
Directions:
- Mix together all ingredients in a food processor or a high powered blender until smooth.
- Pour into a bowl and add your favorite toppers. Pictured is pumpkin seeds, almond slivers, molasses, and extra cinnamon. Hemp seeds, plain yogurt, or any other nuts and seeds would also be complimentary!
Thanks for checking this out! I love to see your recreations on Instagram, so if you make this don’t forget to tag me!

Wow. Looks simply scrumptious. I’m going to try this. Never frozen a banana and so I’ll be interested to see how that turns out. Those chia puddings look awesome.
